Justina has been accepted into the Primary Teacher Education Program in 2017!

Central Africa Baptist University is an accredited Teacher Training College and Testing Centre. We are accepting applications for the January 2017 intake in the Primary Teacher Education Program.

My name is Kasongo Justina, aged 22. I am the only child of the late Mr and Mrs Malaika. I grew up at Faith Childrens Village in Kakolo. I completed my secondary school at Helen Kaunda High School in 2013, where I obtained my secondary school certificate.

My life as a Christian began in 2004 at Faith Baptist Church Kakolo while staying at Faith Childrens Village. One Sunday morning at junior church, Mrs Mwanisa was teaching about how people are born with sin and the consequences of this sin being death. She also taught us that if we do not repent of this sin we would go to hell and spend eternity there. This lesson really spoke to me because I realized that I was a sinner who needed Christs forgiveness. I then turned to Christ in prayer and asked for forgiveness and resolved that He would rule my heart from that day. My life changed from then on and I began serving in two ministries, specifically choir and ushering.

For the past two years I have been working at Faith Baptist Church School as an Assistant Teacher in order to raise money for college. I have always wanted to be a teacher and my time at Faith Baptist Church School inspired me to become a teacher who is dedicated to a Christ centered education. I therefore decided to apply at Central Africa Baptist College to study in the education program offered because I know it would enable me to achieve my dream.

I would like to study from this institution because it is founded on biblical values which can be of benefit to me as a Christian as well as in my service as a teacher. I will also have the privilege of being surrounded by fellow Christians for accountability and overseers who will be able to guide me in my walk with Christ.

Becoming a teacher will give me great opportunities to reach out to the lost with the gospel of Jesus Christ.
