CABC Welcomes Additions to its Board of Directors

WASHINGTON, D.C., JANUARY 17, 2025 — The Canadian American Business Council (CABC) is proud to announce the expansion of its Board of Directors, with the addition of two new members.


Aaron Schoonbaert, Chief Operating Officer at Price Industries

Aaron Schoonbaert currently serves as COO of Price’s Canadian and U.S. operations, where he leads the plant teams in achieving sales growth and meeting quality and service expectations.

With more than 15 years of experience leading high-performing operations teams, Aaron brings a vast source of experience and knowledge to the CABC team. Aaron joined the Price team in 2014 as Operations Manager for Critical Controls (now Antec Controls). In 2017, Aaron moved to Atlanta, Georgia, to take on a Continuous Improvement Manager role, assisting the industrial engineering team with capacity increases and key process improvements. He later progressed through the roles of Plant Manager of Price’s Suwanee and Crestridge facilities and General Manager of Price’s Grilles, Registers and Diffusers and Sustainable Systems business units.


Louis A. Vega, President, North America; Vice President, Government Affairs & Advocacy, North America at Dow

Louis A. Vega is president of Dow North America and vice president, Government Affairs & Advocacy, North America. In his role as president of Dow’s largest region, with 17,500 employees and $15.5 billion annual revenue, he oversees strategy development, P&L management and stakeholder relations. As vice president, he leads a team of professionals focusing on legislative and regulatory policy priorities to enable a positive business environment for the company and its investments.

Louis has been with Dow for 25 years and has led significant growth projects and business development programs, holding roles in Horgen, Switzerland; Dubai, UAE; Midland, Michigan; New York, New York; Melbourne, Australia; and Washington, D.C. Louis brings a wealth of international experience and expertise to the CABC.
